Enhanced Compliance Inc (ECI) is making a decisive leadership move as the life sciences sector faces mounting regulatory complexity, appointing seasoned industry executive Khalid Raja (Raj) as Senior Vice President, Strategic Growth & Advisory, effective April 13, 2026.

 

The hire signals ECI’s intent to sharpen its edge in an increasingly demanding global market, where companies are under pressure to accelerate innovation while navigating stricter compliance frameworks.

Raj steps into the role with more than 30 years of leadership across quality, regulatory affairs, and global operations in the medical device and life sciences sectors. Most recently, he served as Global Vice President of Quality & Compliance for Robotics and Digital Surgery at Johnson & Johnson, overseeing strategy for cutting-edge technology platforms.

 

His résumé includes senior leadership roles at Dentsply Sirona, Philips, Bausch & Lomb, and Boston Scientific—where he led global quality and regulatory functions, spearheading enterprise-wide transformation efforts, regulatory approvals, and operational improvements across complex manufacturing and supply chains.

 

Known for building and scaling international teams, Raj has guided organizations through regulatory remediation, product commercialization, and large-scale compliance transformations. His cross-functional expertise spans product development, manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory affairs, and both pre- and post-market quality—giving him a comprehensive view of the challenges companies face across the product lifecycle.

 

At ECI, Raj will take on a dual mandate: advising clients on high-stakes regulatory and quality strategies while driving growth across key markets and strategic accounts. He is also expected to play a central role in shaping thought leadership and helping organizations develop scalable, high-performance quality systems.
