Eli Lilly appoints Chandan S.as Senior Director for Data Science and AI Engineering

AI and analytics leader brings extensive expertise in machine learning, GenAI, and life sciences decision intelligence to Lilly’s data science operations

Chandan S. has joined Eli Lilly and Company as Senior Director – Data Science and AI Engineering. He brings significant experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, commercial analytics, and life sciences decision intelligence.

He comes with a strong track record in developing AI-powered platforms, expanding analytics capabilities, and managing global data science teams.

Before joining Lilly, Chandan held key leadership positions at Axtria - Ingenious Insights, where he spearheaded data science initiatives focused on generative AI, decision intelligence engines, patient analytics, and omnichannel AI orchestration.

Prior to that, he spent more than a decade at WNS leading AI/ML, pricing analytics, NLP, and market access transformation programs for life sciences clients.

Earlier in his career, he worked with Genpact, Thomson Reuters, and NIIT SmartServe across analytics, research, compliance, and quality management functions.
