The leading hospital chain appoints Lokesh Taridalu Shivakumar as Facility Director for Yeshwanthapur hospital

Fortis Healthcare has appointed Lokesh Taridalu Shivakumar as Facility Director for its Yeshwanthapur hospital in Bengaluru, the group’s recently acquired facility under its cluster expansion strategy.

Fortis had acquired the former People Tree Hospital in Yeshwanthpur as part of its Rs 840 crore Bengaluru growth plan. 

In his new role, Shivakumar will lead overall hospital operations and P&L, with a focus on driving operational excellence, business growth, and strengthening patient care delivery as Fortis scales the facility.

He brings extensive experience across hospital operations, sales, and business development, with prior leadership roles at SPARSH Hospital, Apollo Hospitals, Gleneagles Hospitals, Narayana Health, Manipal Hospitals, Nicholas Piramal India, and Wanbury.

With strong expertise in P&L management, strategic growth, and healthcare operations, his appointment is expected to support Fortis’ efforts to expand the Yeshwanthapur facility into a larger multi-specialty hub in Bengaluru.
