Dr. Brown brings extensive international experience in oncology and radiopharmaceutical development,
GAIASO announced the appointment of Dr. Tracey Brown as its new Chief Executive Officer. A highly regarded biotech entrepreneur, Dr. Brown is known for her ability to transform breakthrough science into real-world products through clear strategy, collaborative leadership, and disciplined execution in high-growth, resource-constrained environments. Her leadership will further strengthen GAIASO’s mission to advance next-generation precision radiopharmaceuticals and deliver meaningful impact for patients worldwide.
Dr. Brown brings extensive international experience in oncology and radiopharmaceutical development, having held senior leadership positions at Telix Pharmaceuticals, Anatara Lifesciences, and Alchemia. Earlier in her career, she co-founded Meditech Research, where she invented the pioneering HyACT oncology drug-delivery platform and established a substantial patent estate while driving portfolio strategy. She began her scientific journey at Monash University, where she led the Hyaluronan Laboratory and held both research and adjunct academic appointments. Dr. Brown holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Monash University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Reflecting on her appointment, Dr. Brown said: “I lost my mum to ovarian cancer and ever since, I’ve dedicated my career to translating science into real options for women and cancer patients. My commitment is to ensure that brilliant science becomes accessible care.”
