Dr. Khaserao brings over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, innovation strategy, portfolio management and in-licensing
Lupin Ltd. has appointed Dr. Satish Khaserao as General Manager – Innovation, Business Development & In-Licensing, reinforcing its focus on strengthening innovation, strategic partnerships and portfolio expansion.
In his new role, Dr. Khaserao will lead the company's innovation initiatives, business development activities, strategic collaborations and in-licensing opportunities to accelerate Lupin's growth pipeline and expand its global pharmaceutical portfolio.
Dr. Khaserao brings over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, innovation strategy, portfolio management and in-licensing. His expertise spans new product identification, strategic alliances, portfolio expansion, clinical research and the commercialisation of innovative therapies.
Prior to joining Lupin, he served as Lead – Business Development at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where he played a key role in advancing business development and strategic growth initiatives.
Earlier, he held leadership positions at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Bilcare GCS Limited and Alkem Laboratories Ltd., gaining extensive experience across research, product strategy and commercial operations.
His appointment underscores Lupin's continued emphasis on driving innovation-led growth, strengthening strategic partnerships and expanding its differentiated product portfolio in global pharmaceutical markets.
