Macleods Pharma appoints Vivek Nair as Senior Vice President – Domestic Business

Nair spent more than 12 years, progressing from Management Trainee to Head – Sales & Marketing while leading the company’s diabetes portfolio.

Vivek Nair has been appointed Senior Vice President – Domestic Business at Macleods Pharmaceuticals, bringing more than 25 years of experience across sales, marketing, commercial leadership and the pharmaceutical industry.

In his new role, Nair will focus on driving customer-centric initiatives and strengthening the company’s Customer First approach across its domestic business. 

Prior to joining Macleods Pharmaceuticals, Nair served as Commercial Director at Abbott Primary Care for more than six years. He previously held leadership positions at Abbott Healthcare as Associate Director – General Medicine and at Abbott India as Head – Critical Care. 

Nair began his career with Wockhardt, where he spent more than 12 years, progressing from Management Trainee to Head – Sales & Marketing. During his tenure, he was responsible for leading the company’s diabetes portfolio. 

With experience spanning commercial strategy, sales and marketing, and portfolio leadership, Nair is expected to bring a strong customer-focused perspective to Macleods Pharmaceuticals’ domestic business.
