Novartis has appointed Vrinda Taneja as Director – People & Organisation, International India.

Prior to joining Novartis, Taneja was with Vodafone Idea from May 2024 to November 2025 as VP HR – Technology. She was also with AkzoNobel as HR Leader – Commercial (Paints & Coatings) and R&D from August 2022 to May 2024.

Her journey includes leading HR for large and diverse teams across sales, marketing, corporate functions, and R&D, as well as driving talent strategies, capability building, and organizational transformation. Vrinda’s earlier roles at Royal Bank of Scotland Business, Deutsche Postbank Group AG, Talengene, and ITC Limited further strengthened her global exposure and expertise across multiple industries.
