Practo has announced a new leadership structure as the digital healthcare platform enters its next phase of growth, elevating Founder and CEO Shashank ND Singh to Managing Director and Executive Chairman and appointing Jagnoor Singh as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2026.
As Managing Director and Executive Chairman, Shashank ND Singh will continue to oversee Practo’s overall vision, product and strategy while leading the company’s long-term innovation agenda, capital strategy, inorganic growth and corporate development initiatives.
“Over the past 18 years, Practo has built a trusted healthcare platform connecting patients, doctors and providers at scale. We are now entering a phase that requires us to strengthen execution across our businesses while investing deeply in the ideas that will shape healthcare over the next decade.
Jagnoor has brought strong operating rigour and ambition to Practo, and has been instrumental in advancing our growth strategy. I look forward to working even more closely with him as we scale our impact, accelerate innovation and build Practo’s next phase of growth,” said Shashank ND Singh, Founder, Managing Director and Executive Chairman, Practo.
Jagnoor Singh joined Practo as Chief Operating Officer in January 2025 and has been responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy, strengthening execution and supporting expansion into new markets. Prior to Practo, he held senior operating roles at Bharti Airtel, Unacademy and OYO.
As CEO, Jagnoor Singh will lead Practo’s overall strategy, growth and operations across its global markets, working with Shashank ND Singh on the company’s long-term vision.
“Since joining Practo, I have had the opportunity to help strengthen our businesses and advance our global expansion. The progress we have made has deepened my conviction in the opportunity ahead and in our ability to deliver meaningful impact for patients and providers. Practo has an exceptional leadership team, strong foundations and a clear ambition for the future,” said Jagnoor Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Practo.
Practo has also expanded responsibilities for two long-standing leaders. Co-founder Siddhartha Nihalani has taken on the additional role of Chief Operating Officer – B2C, overseeing the company’s consumer businesses, while Rowel Coelho, previously Head of Monetization, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer – B2B, responsible for Practo’s enterprise and corporate businesses.
Co-founder Abhinav Lal has been appointed Chief Scientist, where he will lead Practo’s exploration of frontier applications of AI in healthcare, develop research partnerships and build an innovation hub focused on future healthcare technologies.
The leadership changes come as Practo reports 40% year-on-year growth and says it has remained profitable for the past two-and-a-half years.
