Qure.ai has appointed Mihir Bhanushali as Executive Vice President, Global Health, as the AI healthcare company expands its focus on AI-powered healthcare delivery across low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Bhanushali joins Qure.ai from Freshworks, where he served as Senior Director, Global Sales. He brings commercial and international experience from leadership roles at Freshworks, Rippling and Whatfix, spanning sales, go-to-market strategy and commercial transformation.
In his new role, Bhanushali will lead Qure.ai’s growth across Africa, Southeast Asia, South Asia and Latin America, with responsibility for solutions addressing infectious diseases such as tuberculosis and HIV, as well as care delivery across frontline health systems.
Qure.ai’s AI solutions are currently deployed across 107+ countries and 5,200+ sites. The company has worked with public health systems in countries including Nigeria and Kenya, using AI for TB screening, early diagnosis and broader healthcare delivery.
The company is now expanding beyond screening and diagnosis into care delivery, with Aira, its AI doctor and clinical co-pilot for frontline healthcare, at the centre of this strategy. Aira integrates clinical intelligence, digital workflows and care coordination for applications including primary care, telemedicine, HIV, infectious diseases and pandemic preparedness.

He added that Bhanushali’s commercial and international experience would help the company scale its existing work, including expanding Aira into new markets and use cases.
Bhanushali said Qure.ai had built AI technology that was already being used at scale to address healthcare challenges across diverse markets. He said the next opportunity was to bring clinical intelligence to more frontline workers, strengthen health systems and reach more patients.
Qure.ai’s LMIC initiatives are supported by partnerships with governments, healthcare organisations and global health funders, including the Gates Foundation.
