Reliance Life Sciences appoints Siva Sankar Mahamkali as VP Biosimilars Manufacturing Operations

Biologics manufacturing veteran brings over two decades of expertise in biosimilars, GMP operations, and large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing

Siva Sankar Mahamkali has joined Reliance Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. as Vice President – Biosimilars Manufacturing Operations. 

With more than 20 years of experience in biologics manufacturing, biosimilars, GMP operations, and biopharmaceutical scale-up, he brings extensive expertise in mammalian cell culture, technology transfer, regulatory compliance, and large-scale biologics production.

Before joining Reliance Life Sciences, Siva Sankar held senior leadership positions at Aragen Life Sciences and Aragen Biologics Pvt Ltd.. 

Earlier, he spent close to 13 years with Syngene International Limited, where he led biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations and contributed significantly to securing EU-GMP and USFDA approvals for biologics manufacturing facilities.

He has also worked with Panacea Biotec Ltd, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, and Magene Life Sciences Pvt Ltd across areas including biosimilar process development, biologics manufacturing, and fermentation technologies.
