Dr. Harle brings extensive leadership experience in clinical development, biologics, vaccines and global regulatory strategy
Shilpa Biologicals Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shilpa Medicare Ltd., has appointed Dr. Uday Harle as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 3, 2026.
Dr. Harle brings extensive leadership experience in clinical development, biologics, vaccines and global regulatory strategy.
His appointment comes as Shilpa Biologicals accelerates the expansion of its biologics portfolio and strengthens its Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) capabilities, supported by the strong financial performance of Shilpa Medicare in FY26.
Prior to joining Shilpa Biologicals, Dr. Harle served as Assistant Vice President – Biologics NCE Vaccines at the Amneal Group, where he led global clinical development across biosimilars, vaccines and novel biologics.
Earlier, he held key leadership positions as Head of Global Clinical Development at Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. – India, Head & Senior General Manager – Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance at Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited, and Associate Director at Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
Over his career, Dr. Harle has built expertise in global clinical trials, regulatory strategy, translational research, oncology, biologics and vaccine development, positioning him to lead Shilpa Biologicals' next phase of innovation and growth in the biologics space.
