Discussions are likely to centre on how the country can move up the pharmaceutical value chain
Industry chamber Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) is set to host the 9th edition of India Pharma Conference 2026 on April 13 and 14 in New Delhi.
Organised by FICCI in association with the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India, the conference will focus on strengthening India’s position as a global hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing, research and life sciences innovation.
The two-day summit is expected to bring together senior government officials, global pharma companies, domestic manufacturers, CDMOs, biotech innovators, investors and policy experts to discuss opportunities emerging across APIs, complex generics, biosimilars, digital health, regulatory harmonisation and resilient supply chains.
With India rapidly scaling its ambitions in innovation-led healthcare and global exports, the conference comes at a crucial time for the industry. Discussions are likely to centre on how the country can move up the pharmaceutical value chain, deepen R&D-led growth, expand strategic global collaborations and accelerate the transition from volume-led manufacturing to value-driven innovation.
The event is also expected to provide a strong networking and deal-making platform for Indian and international companies looking to forge partnerships in drug development, contract manufacturing, market access and next-generation therapeutics.
As the pharmaceutical sector navigates pricing pressures, geopolitical shifts and growing demand for trusted supply partners, India Pharma 2026 is likely to serve as an important platform for shaping the roadmap of the country’s next growth phase in life sciences.
