Galderma, the dermatology-focused company, has unveiled a major upgrade to one of its flagship skincare innovations with the launch of Regenerating Skin Nectar with TriHex+ under its Alastin brand.

The company is positioning the product as a next-level advancement in peri-procedural skincare—products used before and after cosmetic treatments to prepare skin, support healing, and improve visible outcomes.

“As a pioneer in peri-procedural skincare, Alastin helped establish the category with the original Regenerating Skin Nectar — one of the first products specifically developed to prepare the skin before cosmetic procedures, complement procedural outcomes, and visibly support a smoother, accelerated recovery.”

For more than a decade, the original formula has been widely used by aesthetic physicians as a preparatory treatment ahead of procedures such as laser resurfacing, chemical peels, microneedling, facelifts, and radiofrequency treatments.

The company says it has become a preferred option among providers who use the brand and remains the only product in its category supported by published clinical data on pre-procedure skin conditioning.

The upgraded version builds on that foundation with what Galderma calls a more advanced formulation designed to help improve how skin responds before, during, and after cosmetic procedures.

“Regenerating Skin Nectar with TriHex+ builds on this foundation with an advanced formulation designed to help visibly improve how the skin prepares for, responds to, and recovers from procedures.”

It is the second product to feature Alastin’s next-generation TriHex+ platform, following the earlier launch of Restorative Skin Complex with TriHex+™.

At the core of the technology is TriHex Technology, a proprietary peptide system designed to help clear damaged collagen and elastin while supporting the creation of new structural proteins in the skin.

The newer TriHex+ platform expands on this approach with the addition of Octapeptide-45, which supports the skin’s natural production of high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid (HA). According to the company, this works alongside existing mechanisms to further stimulate collagen, elastin, and HA production, strengthening the skin’s structural framework and dermal-epidermal junction.

Galderma says the result is a formulation aimed at improving skin resilience and recovery, with the goal of delivering more consistent outcomes and supporting long-term skin health following aesthetic procedures.
