Bayer Co.Lab AdVenture platform will accelerate biotech innovation through global investment networks
Bayer announced the launch of Bayer Co.Lab AdVenture, a new platform within its global life sciences incubator network designed to connect biotech startups with leading venture capital firms worldwide. The initiative aims to accelerate access to global financing and investment expertise, helping transform early-stage ideas into impactful healthcare solutions.
The launch of Bayer Co.Lab AdVenture was unveiled on the first anniversary of Bayer Co.Lab Shanghai, which also welcomed two new Chinese biotech startups, OTR Therapeutics and Nutshell Therapeutics, into its community. Both companies’ research and development efforts align with Bayer’s strategic priorities, underscoring a shared commitment to advancing innovative therapies that address areas of high unmet medical need.

The inaugural partners of Bayer Co.Lab AdVenture include Shanghai Industrial Investment Capital (SIIC), Legend Capital, IDG Capital, and Bayland Capital. These firms bring deep investment expertise and strong local networks, offering resident startups strategic advice and curated opportunities to connect with global investors.
The introduction of Bayer Co.Lab AdVenture marks an important step in Bayer’s open innovation strategy, reinforcing its commitment to fostering biotech innovation in regions with strong scientific ecosystems while strengthening global connections.
