Funding will accelerate product innovation, global expansion, and adoption of enterprise AI across radiology and broader healthcare

CARPL.ai, a radiology AI marketplace and enterprise platform, has raised USD 10 million in a Series A funding round led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. Existing investor Stellaris Venture Partners and other investors also participated in the round.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate product innovation, expand CARPL.ai's global partner ecosystem, and drive commercial growth across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and emerging markets.

CARPL.ai provides healthcare organizations with a vendor-neutral enterprise platform for deploying and managing artificial intelligence applications in medical imaging.

Through a single integration, healthcare providers can access more than 300 radiology AI applications from over 100 technology partners, while also building, testing, deploying, and monitoring AI across clinical workflows.

The platform is currently used by some of the world's largest healthcare organizations, including four of the world's top five private radiology groups, as well as government healthcare systems in Brazil, India, Singapore, Spain, and the UAE.

The company noted that medical imaging generates more than 80% of healthcare data, while demand for imaging services continues to outpace radiologist capacity. Although more than 1,000 FDA-cleared radiology AI applicationsare now available, adoption remains fragmented because healthcare providers often need to evaluate, integrate, and manage multiple standalone AI solutions independently.

Dr. Vidur Mahajan, Chief Executive Officer of CARPL.ai, said, "Over the past few years, we have built the world's largest radiology AI marketplace, integrated deeply with leading enterprise PACS providers, and earned the trust of some of the largest healthcare enterprises globally. We are privileged to have IFC as a partner as we continue to expand worldwide."

Farid Fezoua, Global Director for Private Equity and Venture Capital at IFC, said the investment aligns with IFC's objective of improving access to high-quality diagnostics in emerging markets through digital health innovation.

Alok Goyal, Partner at Stellaris Venture Partners, said CARPL.ai has successfully translated its vision into a globally trusted platform by establishing partnerships with leading PACS providers and enabling millions of patient scans through its enterprise AI infrastructure.
