The company plans to establish similar healthcare centres across universities, schools, and corporate campuses nationwide
Dr. Morepen has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VIT Bhopal University to establish a fully integrated Dr. Morepen Health Centre on the university campus.
This marks the aunch of a new healthcare delivery model tailored for educational institutions across India.
The MoU was signed by Dr. G. Viswanathan, Founder and Chancellor of VIT Group of Institutions, in the presence of Dr. Sankar Viswanathan, Vice President, VIT Bhopal, along with senior leadership representatives from Dr. Morepen.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening healthcare access for students, faculty, non-teaching staff, and their families through a comprehensive range of on-campus medical services.
The Health Centre will offer medical consultations, emergency care support for non-critical cases, day care services, minor procedures, advanced pathology and diagnostic facilities, a dedicated pharmacy, preventive health screenings, wellness programs, and student-focused health awareness initiatives.
Dr. G. Viswanathan, Founder & Chancellor, VIT Group of Institutions, said, "I am happy that today the VIT Bhopal University has signed a MOU with Dr. Morepen Health Centre. This is the occasion where Dr. Morepen Centre will take care of their health, not only the students, but also the teachers, non-teaching staff and their families. We have more than 17,000 students studying there and they are from various parts of India. Now we have to take care of their health."
