Supreme Court grants PULSUS Ameenpur project ITeS Park and SEZ status, strengthening Telangana's position in AI, healthcare technology, and digital services
PULSUS Group has announced a major expansion of its AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation Hub in Ameenpur, Telangana, with plans to create 6,000 direct jobs and support up to 30,000 indirect employment opportunities as it scales operations at its 35-acre campus.
The expansion follows a recent Supreme Court ruling that upheld the project's IT/ITeS and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) status, providing regulatory clarity and enabling the company to accelerate development and investment plans.
The decision is expected to strengthen PULSUS Group's efforts to build a large-scale innovation ecosystem focused on artificial intelligence, healthcare technology, digital services, and research-driven solutions.
The company is investing approximately Rs. 500 crore in the Ameenpur campus, which is being developed as a next-generation hub for AI-powered healthcare innovation and global digital services.
The project is strategically located near Hyderabad's rapidly expanding Miyapur growth corridor, an area that has emerged as a key destination for technology, life sciences, and Global Capability Centre (GCC) investments.
Dr. Gedela Srinubabu, CEO of PULSUS Group, said the Ameenpur project was originally envisioned as a major centre for technology innovation and employment generation. He noted that despite regulatory and legal challenges, the company remained committed to the project and is now poised to accelerate its vision following the recognition of its ITES-SEZ status.
