The acquisition further strengthens Redcliffe Labs’ strategy of expanding beyond standalone pathology services towards an integrated model that combines pathology, radiology and advanced imaging
Redcliffe Labs, one of India’s fastest-growing omnichannel diagnostic service providers, has acquired Pune-based Megavision Diagnostics Center, strengthening its presence in Western India and expanding its integrated diagnostics capabilities by bringing advanced imaging and pathology together under a single ecosystem.
The acquisition adds two MRI-equipped centres in Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad region to Redcliffe Labs’ existing pathology network, enabling patients to access a broader range of diagnostic services.
Megavision Diagnostics has served the region for more than two decades and has built a strong reputation among patients and clinicians for its imaging services and clinical expertise.
The transaction brings together Megavision’s established regional presence and radiology expertise with Redcliffe Labs’ technology-led diagnostics network. Redcliffe will retain Megavision’s entire workforce, ensuring continuity of patient care while further strengthening access to integrated diagnostic services.
The acquisition forms part of Redcliffe Labs’ broader strategy to build an integrated diagnostics platform combining pathology and radiology. The company said the move lays the foundation for a connected diagnostics ecosystem and its longer-term expansion through strategic partnerships and acquisitions across Western India.
Over the past year, Redcliffe has expanded its regional presence through acquisitions including Prime Sonography & Diagnostic Center in Kota and Sarvodaya Diagnostics in Ajmer, which now operate under Redcliffe Medicentre Imaging & Labs. These additions reflect the company’s strategy of partnering with established regional healthcare providers while building a connected diagnostics network across India.
Founded more than two decades ago, Megavision Diagnostics was established under the leadership of Dr. Kedar Prabhakar Bhate. Following the acquisition, Dr. Bhate will continue to lead Megavision Redcliffe Labs and work with the Redcliffe Clinical Board to strengthen radiology services and expand integrated diagnostics across Pune and the surrounding region.
Dheeraj Jain, Chairman & Founder, Redcliffe Labs, said, “At Redcliffe Labs, our long-term vision is to build one of India's most trusted integrated diagnostics networks by combining clinical excellence, technology, and strong regional expertise. Every strategic partnership we pursue is guided by this long-term commitment to making comprehensive, high-quality diagnostics more accessible across the country."
Aditya Kandoi, Founder & CEO, Redcliffe Labs, said, “As we strengthen our presence in the city, integrating Megavision's radiology expertise with Redcliffe's pathology network allows us to deliver a more seamless diagnostic experience. We believe the future of diagnostics lies in connected care, where pathology and radiology work together to enable earlier detection, better clinical decisions, and a more proactive approach to preventive healthcare."
Dr. Kedar Prabhakar Bhate, Director and Founder, Megavision Diagnostics, said, “As we become part of the Redcliffe Labs family, I am confident that our shared values of patient-centric care and diagnostic excellence will enable us to build on Megavision's legacy while preserving the trust and standards that have defined us for over two decades.”
