Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc., USA has launched Calcium Gluconate Injection USP in three strengths and packaging formats in the US, expanding its hospital injectable portfolio.
The products include 1,000 mg/10 mL and 5,000 mg/50 mL single-dose vials, along with a 10,000 mg/100 mL pharmacy bulk package, all at a concentration of 100 mg/mL.
Glenmark's Calcium Gluconate Injection is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug marketed by Fresenius Kabi USA under NDA 208418.
According to IQVIA data for the 12 months ending June 2026, the US market for the three Calcium Gluconate Injection presentations recorded annual sales of approximately $69.9 million.
