Neuland Laboratories clears Rs. 126 crore capex for 134 acres in Kakinada for future expansion

Neuland Laboratories Limited has announced that its Board of Directors approved a capital expenditure of Rs.126 crores for the purchase of approximately 134 acres of land at Auro Industrial City in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, inclusive of related expenditures. The decision was finalized during a board meeting held on September 7, 2026.

As part of the arrangement, the company also holds a right of first refusal to acquire an additional contiguous land parcel of approximately 66 acres at a future date, which would bring the total potential land holding at the location to roughly 200 acres.

The newly acquired land is earmarked to support the company's future expansion initiatives, with the capital investment of Rs.126 crores to be entirely financed through internal accruals.
