Lupin receives ESG rating of 60, placed in Adequate category

ESG rating agency independently prepared its assessment based on information about the company available in the public domain

Lupin Limited has received an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) rating of 60, with the company placed in the ‘Adequate’ category, according to an independent assessment by ESG Risk Assessments & Insights Limited.

In a regulatory filing, Lupin said the ESG rating agency independently prepared its assessment based on information about the company available in the public domain.

The company clarified that it did not engage ESG Risk Assessments & Insights Limited for the ESG rating.

The disclosure was made by Lupin pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
