Divya brings a strong track record of delivering technology-led transformation across the pharmaceutical industry
Divya Dhankhar has been appointed as Director – Global Digital Innovation & AI at Gilead Sciences, where she will lead initiatives focused on artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and next-generation customer engagement across the company's global operations.
She joins Gilead from Lundbeck, where she served as Associate Director – NBX & Omnichannel Orchestration. In this role, she spearheaded the strategy and execution of Next Best Experience (NBX) initiatives, leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance customer journeys, personalize engagement, and optimize omnichannel experiences.
Prior to Lundbeck, Divya spent several years at Cognizant, holding a series of leadership positions including Senior Manager – Commercial Operations & Digital Engagement, Global Program Manager – US Commercial IT, Sales Information Lead – Immunology, and Manager – Sales Force Effectiveness & Analytics.
During her tenure at Cognizant, she partnered with global life sciences organizations, including AbbVie, to drive digital transformation initiatives spanning commercial operations, omnichannel engagement, sales analytics, incentive compensation, Veeva CRM, Salesforce CRM, and data-driven decision-making.
With deep expertise in AI-enabled commercial excellence, digital strategy, and customer-centric innovation, Divya brings a strong track record of delivering technology-led transformation across the pharmaceutical industry.
Her appointment underscores Gilead Sciences' continued focus on accelerating digital innovation and leveraging AI to enhance commercial effectiveness and customer engagement.
