Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has promoted Namita Shah to Senior Vice President – Global Portfolio. In this expanded role, she will take charge of the company's portfolio strategy across regulated markets, emerging markets, and India.

She brings nearly three decades of extensive expertise in pharmaceutical portfolio strategy, market analysis, product management, and strategic planning to this expanded global mandate. Prior to this promotion, she served as the company's Vice President – Portfolio, India and Emerging Markets.

Her previous leadership experience includes over three years as Associate Director at Abbott India Limited, Mumbai, alongside senior portfolio and marketing roles at major pharmaceutical companies including Sun Pharma, Wockhardt, Alkem Laboratories, and Indoco Remedies.

Namita holds a B.Pharma Degree from the University of Mumbai.
