Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals Limited announced the appointment of Amrut Medhekar as ChiefOperating Officer (COO). The newly created role aims at driving Jagsonpal’s strategic growth aspirations and strengthening its position in the Indian Pharmaceutical industry.

Amrut, a veteran in the Indian pharmaceutical Industry, brings nearly three decades of experience in General Management, Sales, Marketing, and Functional Leadership. He most recently served as the CEO – Business Operations at Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited. His past stints include Wockhardt, Zydus Life, Ranbaxy, Torrent, JK Drugs and Pharmaceuticals.

Amrut holds an MBA in Marketing, coupled with a certification in general management from IIM, Ahmedabad.
