Seasoned HR leader brings over 15 years of experience in global talent strategy, organizational transformation, and workforce planning
Takeda has promoted Garima Srivastava to the role of Vice President HR – Global Head of Talent Acquisition for Commercial.
A seasoned human resources professional with more than 15 years of experience, Srivastava has built an extensive career spanning talent acquisition, organizational development, employer branding, workforce transformation, and global HR leadership.
In her new role, she will lead Takeda’s commercial talent acquisition strategy across international markets, focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent to support the company’s growth ambitions.
Srivastava has been associated with Takeda for over five years, during which she has held several key leadership positions. She previously served as HR Head for Global Finance and later as Senior Director – Head of Talent Acquisition.
Most recently, she held the position of Vice President – Global Head of Talent Acquisition for the Global Portfolio Division, where she played a pivotal role in shaping talent strategies and strengthening leadership pipelines across the organization.
Before joining Takeda, Srivastava served as HR Director – Talent & Competence at UD Trucks, part of the Volvo Group, where she led large-scale organizational transformation initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, and talent development strategies.
Her career also includes leadership roles at GE Aerospace and GE Digital, where she managed leadership development programs, campus recruitment initiatives, and talent acquisition strategies across South Asia. Earlier, she spent four years at Infosys, contributing to business-partner HR frameworks and workforce management initiatives.
Srivastava began her professional journey through internships with Genpact, Tata Communications, and the U R Rao Satellite Centre under Indian Space Research Organisation.
Known for her expertise in cross-border talent strategy, leadership hiring, employer branding, workforce planning, and organizational transformation, Srivastava has established herself as a respected HR leader across the global life sciences, technology, and industrial sectors.
