India hospital network launched to initiate life-saving colon cancer trial

The ground-breaking project, led by Genomics England and NHS England, was established in 2013 to sequence 100,000 whole genomes from NHS patients and their families

Results from these studies are expected to be released by 2023. If outcomes from these initial pilots are positive, the studies will be expanded to involve around 1 million participants in 2024 and 2025
