The selected 49 applications are from 33 companies. Out of these 33 companies, 13 are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) besides some newly incorporated entities
The company plans to establish a state-of-the-art greenfield pharma facility with a total of 4-6 manufacturing units in different therapeutics categories to cater to domestic and export markets
Collaboration in the industry needs to be institutionalised to drive the growth.
According to the state government, it will also provide support to special projects such as preclinical testing, genome sequencing in the private sector, private sector BSL-3 lab-vaccine development and manufacturing and testing and certification laboratories
The awards will be conferred to the winners at the annual summit of OPPI, scheduled on March 23-24
