Inceptua Group has acquired SupplyRx, a U.S.-based technology company specializing in cloud-based pharmacy solutions for clinical trials, in a move that expands Inceptua’s clinical supply capabilities across the U.S. and Canada.

 

Backed by Vesey Street Capital Partners, Inceptua provides clinical trial supply, related services and early access programs worldwide. The acquisition brings SupplyRx’s digital technology, pharmacy networks and established processes into Inceptua’s North American Pharmacy Model, with the companies targeting lower supply costs, greater efficiency and reduced pharmaceutical waste.

 

SupplyRx’s cloud-based portal connects study sponsors and clinical trial sites with pharmacy services, helping accelerate patient access to medicines used in clinical research while streamlining the supply chain.

 

The deal also broadens Inceptua’s North American offering beyond its existing pharmacy capabilities, opening opportunities to support retail pharmacy programs and pharmacy-driven clinical trial supply in both the U.S. and Canada.

 

SupplyRx’s technology and expertise will complement Inceptua’s nearly three decades of experience in global sourcing, packaging and labelling, giving sponsors access to a broader range of clinical supply services.
