Parexel to showcase AI, real-world evidence and patient-centric innovations at DIA 2026

Company experts to participate in eight sessions covering AI-powered clinical development, regulatory innovation, oncology research, and patient engagement

Parexel, a leading global clinical development partner, will play a prominent role at the 2026 Drug Information Association (DIA) Global Annual Meeting.

The company executives and subject matter experts participating in eight sessions will be focused on artificial intelligence, regulatory innovation, real-world evidence, quality management, and patient-centered research.

The conference, scheduled from June 14-18 in Philadelphia, brings together life sciences professionals from across the globe to discuss emerging trends and innovations shaping the future of healthcare and drug development. 

Parexel's presentations will explore a broad range of topics, including AI-powered regulatory submissions, human-centered AI applications in clinical research, federated AI in oncology, patient registries, clinical quality management, and the future role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in clinical development.

Among the featured speakers will be Katie Connelly, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Regulatory Affairs, who will discuss how AI, automation, and intelligence are transforming the regulatory ecosystem. Aneiss Ghodsi, Head of AI Engineering, will present Parexel's dual-layer model for integrating human-centered AI into clinical research, while Chief Patient Officer Stacy Hurt will participate in multiple sessions focused on oncology research, patient engagement, and safety reporting.

Mike D'Ambrosio, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Real World Research, will contribute to discussions on patient registries, while Cris McDavid, Senior Director of Clinical Operations, will participate in a panel examining FDA Form 483 observations and quality culture within clinical research organizations. Tala Fakhouri, Chief AI & Regulatory Strategy Officer, will join industry experts to discuss how AI and machine learning should shape the future of clinical development.
