The Healthy Indian Project (THIP) has partnered with the Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility (ISSRF) to launch an evidence-based digital patient education programme on endometriosis.

The collaboration strengthens THIP's mission of working with leading medical associations to develop scientifically accurate, patient-centric educational programmes that promote disease awareness, shared decision-making and better health outcomes.

Under the partnership, ISSRF will oversee the programme's scientific and academic content, while THIP Academy will lead instructional design, content development, multilingual adaptation, digital learning, educational outcome measurement and nationwide delivery through its online platform. 

The self-paced Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) will feature expert-led videos, downloadable resources, knowledge assessments and interactive learning modules designed to improve patient understanding, confidence during medical consultations and timely healthcare seeking.

Endometriosis affects an estimated 190 million women globally, including more than 40 million in India, yet diagnosis is often delayed by six to ten years due to low awareness and the normalization of symptoms. The programme aims to bridge this gap by providing patients and caregivers with reliable, evidence-based information while measuring learning outcomes through structured pre- and post-course assessments.
