TMIV Imaging launches AI-driven CLARION 64/128-slice CT system in India

New CT platform combines AI-powered workflows, advanced detector technology and interventional imaging capabilities

Time Medical International Ventures (TMIV Imaging), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fischer Medical Ventures Limited, has launched its CLARION 64/128-Slice High-Performance AI-Driven CT System in India at the India Health Expo 2026.

The system was formally launched by Dr. Sunil K. Khetrapal, Deputy Director General, Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI), in the presence of healthcare leaders, industry representatives and other stakeholders.

The launch is part of TMIV Imaging’s efforts to expand access to advanced medical imaging technologies in India, with the CLARION platform combining high-performance imaging hardware with AI-enabled workflow capabilitiesaimed at improving diagnostic precision, operational efficiency, patient throughput and system reliability.

At the core of the CT system is an advanced Liquid Metal Bearing (LMB) X-ray tube featuring 360-degree liquid-metal cooling. The technology is designed to improve heat dissipation, maintain stable focal-spot positioning, enable continuous high-speed operation and extend tube life.

The system also features the company’s Aegis Detector System, designed to enhance image clarity and low-contrast detectability while supporting low-dose imaging protocols.

CLARION incorporates several AI-enabled workflow features, including three-click scanning, AI-assisted automatic patient positioning using a quad-lens depth camera and remote-control functionality. These capabilities are intended to simplify CT operations and improve workflow efficiency for imaging departments.

The platform is available in configurations of up to 128 slices, supporting applications ranging from routine diagnostic imaging to advanced cardiac, vascular, neurological, thoracic, abdominal, orthopaedic and interventional procedures.

The 64-slice configuration features a 91 cm bore, making it suitable for vascular imaging and intraoperative applications, while the 128-slice configuration is designed for procedures requiring higher temporal resolution.
