The new ARTIS icono systems adapts flexibly to the differing needs of cardiovascular interventions, interventional radiology, neuroradiology, and vascular interventions. ARTIS icono comes with OPTIQ imaging which enables constant image quality regardless of procedure, patient size, or C-arm angulation.  It uses a contrast-driven technique based on automatic parametrization and intelligent, self-adjusting algorithms ensuring the ALARA dose principle.

The angiography system is enabled with significantly superior 2D and 3D imaging, improving image quality, and reducing the radiation required. With an enhanced movement of the C-arm with Sine Spin, the cranial base and skull cap can now be depicted with practically no artifacts in a 3D visualization.
