Aakaar Medical Technologies., a Mumbai-based company listed on the NSE Emerge platform, has launched XELIX, a first-of-its-kind national digital platform designed to connect patients with qualified dermatologists and aesthetic specialists across India.

Unveiled at the FAHA Dermatology Conference, the platform aims to improve access to safe, ethical, and evidence-based dermatology and aesthetic care by enabling patients to discover verified specialists through a curated network of dermatologist-led clinics.

The company said the platform addresses a growing challenge in India's rapidly expanding aesthetic medicine market, where increasing demand for treatments related to acne, pigmentation, hair loss, anti-ageing, and cosmetic procedures has been accompanied by a surge in misinformation, influencer-driven recommendations, and unverified clinics.

XELIX brings together a network of verified clinics led by qualified dermatologists that follow standardized, evidence-based treatment protocols. The platform includes specialists in dermatology, trichology, plastic surgery, and aesthetic medicine, allowing patients to search for experts by location or treatment requirement, review doctor profiles, and book appointments through a digital interface.

Each consultation begins with a detailed clinical evaluation, with treatment recommendations based on scientific evidence and individual patient needs rather than marketing trends or promotional claims.

Dr. Vijay Nagdev, MD, Dermatologist, said aesthetic treatments are medical procedures that should only be performed by qualified professionals.

"Choosing an unqualified provider can increase the risk of infections, scarring, skin damage, poor results and other health complications. Through its trusted network of verified dermatologists and aesthetic specialists, XELIX helps patients find the right experts for safe, evidence-based and ethical care while promoting high standards of treatment and patient safety," he said.

Dr. V.S. Rathore, Master of Surgery (General Surgery) and M.Ch. (Plastic Surgery), said, "XELIX has been created to bridge this gap by connecting patients with qualified, certified dermatologists, plastic surgeons and aesthetic physicians. Our vision is to make it easier for every patient to identify the right specialist while ensuring access to evidence-based treatments, standardized clinical protocols and the highest standards of patient care," he said.

Highlighting the platform's broader vision, Dr. Rahul Sawakhande, CEO & Director, Aakaar Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd., said XELIX has also been developed as a collaborative ecosystem for dermatologists and aesthetic physicians.

He noted that doctors associated with the network will benefit from standardized clinical protocols, access to advanced diagnostic technologies, training and knowledge-sharing opportunities, continuous professional collaboration, and enhanced digital visibility through a trusted national brand, enabling them to focus on delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
