Butterfly Learnings raises Rs. 65 Crore in pre-series B to expand neurodevelopmental care across India

The fundraise comes amid increasing awareness of neurodevelopmental conditions in India, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD and learning disabilities

Butterfly Learnings, an integrated paediatric behavioural health platform focused on neurodivergent children, has raised Rs. 65 crore in a Pre-Series B funding round led by Inflexor Ventures, with continued participation from existing investors Insitor Partners and Enzia Ventures.

The company said the fresh capital will be used to expand its network of centres across India, strengthen its technology and AI capabilities, and commercialise its early autism screening solution, Get SET Early.

The fundraise comes amid increasing awareness of neurodevelopmental conditions in India, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD and learning disabilities. However, delayed diagnosis, fragmented care pathways and a shortage of trained specialists continue to limit access to timely, evidence-based interventions.

Founded by Dr. Sonam Kothari, paediatric neurologist and CEO & Co-founder, and Dr. Abhishek Sen, healthcare entrepreneur and former founder of Biosense Technologies, Butterfly Learnings aims to address these gaps through an integrated care model combining clinical therapy, inclusive education, digital therapeutics, diagnostics and technology-enabled interventions.

The company currently operates more than 90 centres across over 22 cities. It also operates a BHCOE-accredited therapist training institute, reflecting its focus on standardised behavioural healthcare and professional training.

A key component of Butterfly Learnings' technology portfolio is Get SET Early, a patented, eye-tracking-based autism screening technology for which the company holds an exclusive global licence. Following CDSCO approval, the solution is designed to enable autism screening in children as young as one year old, potentially supporting earlier diagnosis and intervention.

With the latest funding, the company plans to expand beyond its strong presence in Maharashtra into other parts of India. It will also scale the deployment of Get SET Early through hospitals and paediatricians, enhance its digital and AI capabilities and expand its in-house therapist training programme.

Dr. Sonam Kothari, CEO & Co-founder, Butterfly Learnings, said the company was founded to address fragmentation in neurodevelopmental care and create a more integrated journey for children and their families.

Pratip Mazumdar, Partner, Inflexor Ventures, said the investment was driven by the combination of Dr. Kothari's clinical expertise and Dr. Sen's operational experience, adding that Butterfly Learnings is building a scalable platform for standardised, outcome-tracked care.
