Dr. Lal PathLabs Limited has announced the incorporation of a new step-down subsidiary in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, marking the diagnostics major's latest push into Central Asia.

The new entity, Dr Lal PathLabs Indomed LLC, was incorporated on August 19, 2026, by Dr Lal PathLabs FZCO — the company's wholly owned subsidiary based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

Dr Lal PathLabs FZCO has agreed to subscribe to 70% of the share capital of the newly formed Uzbek company, in a cash transaction executed at face value.

The disclosure was made to the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and was signed by Vinay Gujral, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer.

According to the company's filing, the move is intended to strengthen the group's presence in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, extending Dr. Lal PathLabs' international diagnostics footprint beyond its existing UAE base. 

The filing notes the transaction is not a related-party transaction, and no governmental or regulatory approvals were flagged as required for the incorporation.
