On World Cancer Day (Feb 4^th), Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital has partnered with Karkinos Healthcare to promote early detection of cancer in Mumbai among the under-privileged communities. The community outreach program will be conducted with the objective of screening two lakh people for cancer in and across Mumbai, along with a managed cancer care delivery system. The screening services will be provided for free to the under-privileged communities under this initiative.

Given that oncology is a key Centre of Excellence at Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital, the initiative comprises screening people for different types of cancers such as oral cancer, breast cancer, cervix cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer. The target demographic will be those between the ages of 30 and 65 years.
