The Pacemaker Clinic will operate every month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month from 11:00 AM onwards, helping patients maintain better heart health and avoid complications arising from missed device evaluations.

Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Senior Director - Cardiology, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad said, “A pacemaker implantation is not a one-time treatment. Regular follow-up is essential to ensure that the device continues to function effectively and safely. Through this dedicated clinic, we aim to provide structured and specialized care for patients who have undergone pacemaker installation under one roof.”

Dr. Kamal Gupta, Additional Director - Cardiology, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad added, “One of the key advantages of routine pacemaker checks is the ability to monitor battery life well in advance and determine the appropriate time for replacement. This helps prevent emergencies and ensures uninterrupted cardiac support for patients.”

Dr. Amit Madaan, Senior Consultant, Cardiology, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad said, “Modern pacemakers can detect abnormal heart rhythms and life-threatening irregular heartbeats. During routine evaluations, these findings can guide timely medical interventions and adjustments in medication, significantly improving patient outcomes.”

Dr Abhishek Sharma, Facility Director, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad said, “The dedicated Pacemaker Clinic is expected to benefit a large number of cardiac patients by providing timely device surveillance, early detection of rhythm abnormalities, battery-life assessment, and personalized treatment recommendations.”
