Max Healthcare teams up with Google to enable direct appointment bookings

The feature will be available across all Max Healthcare facilities, offering patients consistent and convenient access to services nationwide

Max Healthcare, one of India’s largest private healthcare providers, has partnered with Google to roll out a new digital feature that allows patients to book hospital appointments directly from Google Search and Google Maps, streamlining access to care.

Using Google’s Appointments Redirect capability, people searching for Max Hospitals, doctors, or medical specialties will now see a prominent “Book Online” button. With a single click, users are taken straight to Max Healthcare’s official appointment booking page, cutting down steps, reducing friction, and eliminating dependence on unverified third-party platforms.

The authenticated redirection ensures patients receive accurate, up-to-date information while reinforcing trust by guiding them only to Max Healthcare’s official digital channels.

Commenting on the collaboration, Anas Abdul Wajid, Senior Director - Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Max Healthcare, said, “A large number of patients begin their healthcare journey through a search on Google. Our goal is to make their journey from search to appointment as simple as possible.

"By enabling direct booking via Google, we are helping people save valuable time, avoid confusion, and confidently access our trusted clinical services. Importantly, this initiative is aligned with our wider efforts towards digital transformation to build a more seamless, connected, and patient-centric healthcare ecosystem.”

The feature will be available across all Max Healthcare facilities, offering patients consistent and convenient access to services nationwide.

The collaboration marks another step in Max Healthcare’s push to strengthen India’s digital healthcare ecosystem, using technology to improve patient experience and make trusted care easier to reach.
