ShardaCare-Healthcity has strengthened its oncology programme with the addition of four senior specialists, establishing what it describes as Greater Noida’s first complete Cancer Care Center.

The newly onboarded experts include Malay Nandy as Senior Director & Head, Medical Oncology; Parveen Mendirattaas Director & Unit Head, Surgical Oncology; Sanjeev Kumar Tuli as Associate Director, Surgical Oncology; and Ruchir Tandon as Senior Consultant, Medical Oncology.

They join an existing multidisciplinary team comprising Hemkant Verma, Anil Thakwani, Anindya Mukherjee, and Swarnita Sahu, supported by specialised nursing and clinical staff to deliver integrated cancer care.

The expansion comes amid a rising cancer burden in India, with over 1.46 million new cases reported in 2022 and projections indicating a 12–15% increase by 2030. High mortality—over 850,000 deaths annually—continues to be driven by late diagnosis and limited access to specialised treatment.

Addressing these challenges, the hospital’s enhanced oncology programme integrates medical, surgical, and radiation oncology under one roof, offering end-to-end care from diagnosis to survivorship. Services include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted and endocrine therapies, minimally invasive and robotic surgeries, and advanced radiotherapy techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and brachytherapy.
