Abbott has expanded its Rashfree portfolio with the launch of Rashfree Eva Cream and Rashfree Spray, marking the brand's entry into skin care solutions for women and elderly adults.

Previously focused on baby care, the expanded range is designed to address common skin concerns such as rashes, chafing, and moisture-related irritation.

Rashfree Eva Cream has been formulated to soothe and protect the skin from rashes and friction in sensitive areas, helping women manage irritation caused by sweat, hormonal changes, active lifestyles, tight clothing, and prolonged use of personal hygiene products.

Rashfree Spray offers a touch-free application for adults, particularly elderly individuals using diapers, helping manage diaper-related skin irritation while supporting hygiene and comfort.

The company said the products are designed to address everyday skin issues commonly experienced in India's hot and humid climate, where friction, moisture, and prolonged skin contact can lead to discomfort.

The formulations are intended to protect the skin barrier, maintain hydration, soothe irritation, and support the skin's natural healing process, providing an alternative to home remedies that may not offer lasting relief.

Through the expanded Rashfree portfolio, Abbott aims to support skin health across different life stages while improving everyday comfort and confidence for users and caregivers.

V. Ramanathan, Managing Director & General Manager, Abbott's Primary Care business in India, said, "There is a clear and growing need for simple, effective solutions to address everyday skin concerns that are often under-recognized yet impact comfort and quality of life. With this launch, we aim to bridge this gap by offering convenient, easy-to-use solutions that support both individuals and caregivers in maintaining healthy skin."

Ankith Rai, Associate Director, Medical Affairs, Abbott India, added, "Skin irritation caused by moisture and friction is common, particularly in India's climate, and can affect both physical comfort and confidence. Using appropriate, gentle care can help soothe irritation, protect the skin barrier, and support overall skin health."
