Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals has appointed Yuvraj Datta as President – Operational Strategy & Excellence. Yuvraj brings nearly three decades of leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, healthcare, consumer health, and large-scale manufacturing ecosystems.

Most recently, Yuvraj was the Director of Operations, Business Development & Process Excellence at Zeon Lifesciences Ltd. In this role, he was instrumental in leading multi-site manufacturing operations, developing strategic business initiatives, expanding the company's market reach, and implementing efficiency programs across various product categories and supply chains.

Before his tenure at Zeon, Yuvraj established an extensive career at GSK. He held several strategic leadership positions, with his expertise spanning India, APAC, MENA, CIS/Russia, and other complex global markets. His key accomplishments included overseeing ethics and compliance protocols, managing corporate investigations, driving operational excellence, overseeing contract manufacturing, and deploying the GSK Production System.
