Apollo Hospitals reports robust Q3 earnings; profit after tax humps to Rs. 3,835 million

Healthcare giant Apollo Hospitals has posted strong standalone financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, reflecting steady growth in revenue and profitability.
 
Revenue from operations rose to Rs. 23,637 million for the three months ended December 31, 2025, up from Rs. 20,548 million in the same period last year. Total income, including other income of Rs. 1,080 million, reached Rs. 24,717 million.
 
Expenses increased moderately, with total outflows of Rs. 19,587 million, covering materials, employee benefits, finance costs, depreciation, and other operational expenses. Despite the higher costs, profit before tax surged to Rs. 5,016 million, after accounting for an exceptional loss of Rs. 114 million.
 
Apollo reported a profit after tax of Rs. 3,835 million, compared to Rs. 3,416 million in Q3 last year. Total comprehensive income for the quarter stood at Rs. 3,811 million. Earnings per share rose to Rs. 26.67, up from Rs. 23.76 in the prior year.
 
The company also highlighted its EBITDA growth, reporting Rs. 5,935 million for the quarter, up from Rs. 5,118 million year-on-year. A footnote in the results explained, “The Company has presented EBITDA additionally as part of standalone financial results.”
 
Year-to-date results for nine months ended December 31, 2025, showed total income of Rs. 71,693 million and a profit after tax of Rs. 11,103 million, a notable jump from Rs. 9,629 million for the same period last year.
 
Apollo Hospitals continues to strengthen its financial position, with reserves (excluding revaluation reserves) rising to Rs. 96,240 million, signalling solid balance sheet growth.
