Under the collaboration, Atomy India and PCI will organise nutrition and wellness awareness programmes, including seminars, workshops, athlete interactions, community engagement initiatives and digital campaigns
Atomy Enterprise India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) to become the Official Nutrition and Wellness Partner for Paralympic sports in India, with the partnership focusing on health, nutrition and wellness support for para-athletes.
Under the collaboration, Atomy India and PCI will organise nutrition and wellness awareness programmes, including seminars, workshops, athlete interactions, community engagement initiatives and digital campaigns.
Atomy India will provide nutritional product support, resources and event assistance, while PCI will facilitate participation from para-athletes, coaches and experts.
Speaking at the MoU signing, Dr. SI (Abraham Lee), MD & CEO, Atomy India, said the partnership was a meaningful step towards supporting the health and wellbeing of para-athletes.
Recalling his own recent ligament injury, Lee said the experience gave him a deeper understanding of the challenges associated with impaired mobility and strengthened his appreciation of the resilience of Paralympic athletes.
Devendra Jhajharia, President, Paralympic Committee of India, said the Paralympic movement requires not only sporting excellence but also sustained attention to health, nutrition, wellness and overall wellbeing.
“This partnership provides an opportunity to create meaningful initiatives around nutrition awareness, athlete engagement, wellness and performance enhancement, while also strengthening the ecosystem that supports our para-athletes,” Jhajharia said.
The partnership expands Atomy's involvement in sports and wellness. In South Korea, the company, along with Kolmar BNH, has entered into a three-year sponsorship agreement with the Korean national badminton team, running until February 2029.
Atomy's flagship product HemoHIM is also certified under the Informed Choice anti-doping programme.
The MoU signing took place at the Atomy India Success Academy, where more than 80 members who achieved new Mastership ranks were also felicitated.
Atomy India said it plans to further expand its Global Sourcing and Global Sales strategy, including taking Indian products such as Shilajit and Moringa to international markets through its global distribution network.
