Lyfius Pharma restarts operations at Penicillin-G manufacturing facility

Lyfius Pharma Private Limited (Lyfius), a wholly owned stepdown subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, has re-started the production, with immediate effect, after receiving the 'consent to operate (CTO) from Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) for its Penicillin-G manufacturing facility, at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh today, June 29, 2025.

Aurobindo Pharma to invest in Swarnaakshu Solar Power

Aurobindo Pharma Ltd had earlier announced that it would enter into a captive solar power purchase agreement and acquire upto 26% stake in Swarnaakshu Solar Power Private Limited ("Swarnaakshu") by June 30, 2025. Pending receipt of state government approval for setting up a captive solar power plant, the required investment for acquiring 26% in Swarnaakshu will be completed on or before September 30, 2025, subject to the receipt of approval from the concerned state government.
