Fredun Pharmaceuticals, a formulations company announced that it has received an order worth Rs 22 crore for its cardiac and anti-infectives for sale in East African countries and the order will be executed over 16 months.

Commenting on the order, Fredun Medhora, Managing Director, Fredun Group said, "We are pleased to share this milestone development, which is one of the largest single orders for the company. This order strengthens our position in the East African region, thereby reinforcing our commitment to improving the lives of people."

Fredun as a group has been manufacturing various pharmaceutical formulations. It claims to have clients that not only include leading pharmaceutical companies in India but also across Africa, South East Asia, CIS countries and Latin America

The company has now ventured into the manufacturing of dietary and herbal supplements, neutraceuticals and other healthcare products along with Animal Healthcare products through its group companies namely Fredun Healthcare and Fredna Enterprises.
