The Indian Drug Manufacturer’s Association (IDMA), the country’s oldest drug manufacturers body is organizing its 60th-anniversary celebrations from April 14-15, 2022 at Sahara Star Mumbai. The theme for the two-day conference is `Indian Pharma-Global Healthcare’

The over 1000-strong member association is spread across India and works closely with the government and other stakeholders to uphold the interests of the Indian drug industry.

The two-day conference will showcase achievements and address issues pertaining to the industry. The Chief Guest for the event will be Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, who will address the gathering.

The welcome address will be delivered by Daara Patel, Secretary General – IDMA. The other key members of the committee are Bharat Shah, Chairman - IDMA Diamond Jubilee Organising Committee, Mahesh Doshi, Immediate Past National President – IDMA, Dr. Viranchi Shah, National President – IDMA.

The two-day event will showcase the growth of the Indian pharmaceutical industry and the aim is to provide members with an opportunity to gain insights, exchange ideas and network with over 25 speakers, promoter leaders, c-suite professionals and investors from the industry.

The panel discussions include ‘Its Role in Global Vaccine Development’ ‘The Pharma Industry: Pivoting for Tomorrow’, ‘Private Equity: Fuelling Growth in Pharma SMEs’ and ‘Disruption: Enhancing Value from Manufacturing to Consumer & ‘Inflection Point: Positioning India as the Global API Hub.’

Most importantly, the release of IDMA 60th Year Annual Publication 2022, felicitation of IDMA Diamond Jubilee Core Team and presentation of awards will be the highlights of the event.

The second day begins with the welcome address by Dr Viranchi Shah, National President – IDMA and Management Tips for Entrepreneurs - Inspiration from Ancient Scriptures by Dr. Gnanvatsal Swami Life Coach & Eminent Speaker.

Piyush Goyal, Hon'ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Textiles will deliver the valedictory address.

The vote of thanks will be delivered by Mehul Shah, Hon. General Secretary – IDMA.
