India launches nutraceutical trade expo ‘Bharat Nutraverse’

India’s nutraceutical industry is expected to reach over US$ 22 billion in 2025

India will host the Bharat Nutraverse Expo 2025, the country’s first large-scale nutraceutical trade exhibition, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from September 4th to 6th, 2025.

The event comes as India’s nutraceutical industry continues rapid growth. In 2015, the market was worth US$ 2 billion, and by 2025, it is expected to reach over US$ 22 billion. The country is now on track to become a US$ 100 billion nutraceutical market, following a growth pattern similar to what the US saw in the early 2000s.

The Bharat Nutraverse Expo is promoted by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, and led by Dr. Debjani Roy, Executive Director of SHEFEXIL, the ministry’s trade facilitation body. The event aims to bring together the entire nutraceutical industry to expand India’s global presence in this sector.

Nutrify Today, a leadership and innovation platform in nutraceuticals, has partnered with Bharat Nutraverse to co-lead the industry conference segment of the expo. This partnership will help ensure global industry discussions are part of the event.

Amit Srivastava, Founder and Chief Catalyst at Nutrify Today, said, “India’s nutrition economy has crossed its inflection point. Now, we need alignment across science, scale, and systems. The Bharat Nutraverse Expo provides that platform, and our role is to help the industry move forward with clarity and purpose. It is time to build an export-ready, evidence-led, and ethically grounded industry that the world recognizes.”
