Medtronic and Symbiosis International have partnered to drive clinical excellence in India, inaugurating the Symbiosis Medtronic Experience Centre, 'The TechKnow Verse', in Pune. This state-of-the-art facility is India's first integrated center for advanced surgical and cadaver-based training.
The partnership seeks to improve patient outcomes by advancing healthcare education, offering experiential learning, and equipping clinicians with the latest healthcare technology and knowledge.
The center will offer training to super-specialist doctors and healthcare professionals in various fields, such as neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, and ENT surgery.
The 'TechKnow Verse' features advanced cranial, spinal, and orthopedic technologies, including robotics, surgical navigation systems, and 3D imaging for cadaver training.
Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), highlighted the strategic importance of the initiative, stating that “This Centre is a significant milestone in our pursuit of academic excellence and global relevance.”
