Wolters Kluwer, a major player in professional information for clinicians and nurses with the well-known Lippincott solutions and Ovid platform under its Health solutions and Wolters Kluwer, and Medvarsity, Asia's largest healthcare ed-tech company that offers online and blended learning Certificates, Advanced certificates, and Fellowship programs for healthcare professionals, have joined hands to create a revolution in the healthcare education sector.

The online course content for Medvarsity Fellowship courses has been redesigned to leverage relevant information from Wolters Kluwer's Ovid platform. Additionally, students enrolled in these courses will also get a year-long subscription to core clinical books and a multispecialty medical journal database from Wolters Kluwer. The high-impact books and journals offer working physicians the ability to stay up to date on the latest disease guidelines. This association between the two esteemed organizations allows Medvarsity to significantly – and positively – impact healthcare education.

Ruchi Tushir, VP & GM for Wolters Kluwer Global Growth Markets said, “At Wolters Kluwer, we pride ourselves on helping clinicians provide the best care no matter where they are. This collaboration with Medvarsity helps us further that, by increasing access to impactful evidence-based research and books, keeping them up to date to advance decision making.”

Gerald Jaideep, CEO, Medvarsity said, “We at Medvarsity have always looked to encourage and implement innovation in education. We believe that “knowledge changes lives”. To that end, we have partnered with Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading information provider, to enhance the content of our courses. All Medvarsity students will now get a 1-year subscription to publications from Wolters Kluwer when they upskill with a Fellowship course from Medvarsity. This includes their peer-reviewed medical journals and clinical books in medicine spanning a breadth of healthcare specialties. This content will be mapped to each of the courses to allow an enhanced learning experience for the user."

In the last five years, Medvarsity has positively impacted the careers of over five lakh clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals across 192 countries.
