Merck Life Science inks MoU with ICAR-CIFT, Kochi for research in fishing process

Merck Life Science has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) Kochi, the only national center in India dedicated to conducting research across all areas related to fishing and fish processing. This collaboration between Merck & ICAR-CIFT would help in accelerating scientific projects, methods of development, and workflow development mutually, enabling scientific demonstrations and training in the field of Food Safety.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Veena P Panicker, Director BioMonitoring, Merck Life Science, and Dr. George Ninan, Director Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT) in the presence of dignitaries such as Dr. C.O. Mohan, Principal Investigator, ICAR-CIFT, Dr. Zynudheen A.A. Principal Scientist, ICAR-CIFT, Dr. Pankaj Kishore, Senior Scientist, ICAR-CIFT, Dr. Niladri Sekhar Chatterjee, Senior Scientist, ICAR-CIFT, Dr. Ranjit Kumar Nadella, Scientist, ICAR-CIFT.
